In a season filled with live performances, you can sometimes expect the unexpected, and the Munich Symphony Orchestra, originally scheduled to perform at the Center for the Arts on February 12, has announced that it is unable to move forward with its 2023 tour.

The holidays are getting closer and the Center for the Arts is excited to highlight two audience favorites to complete its winter season: the Vienna Boys Choir and the American Festival Pops Orchestra.

The Center for the Arts presents The Acting Company’s production of The Three Musketeers January 28 featuring an exciting new adaptation.

The GRAMMY Award-winning Silkroad Ensemble, founded by cellist Yo-Yo Ma and now under the Artistic Direction of Rhiannon Giddens, debuts their newest program Uplifted Voices at the Center on January 29, as part of their multi-year participation as a Mason Artist-in-Residence.

Last spring, Maestro Peter Wilson picked up the baton, becoming the new artistic director and conductor of the American Festival Pops Orchestra (AFPO), effective the 2022-2023 season. No stranger to AFPO, Maestro Wilson was the orchestra’s longtime concertmaster and principal violinist. While Wilson has some pretty big shoes to fill, but we’re excited to see his official debut with Holiday Pops: Songs of the Season.
