Get ready for unparalleled instrumental antics: Mnozil Brass (March 1) is headed to town! Known as the Monty Python of the music world for more than 30 years, the Austrian brass septet plays a wide range of tunes from the pop and classical canons, all with an enviable saucy panache. Here’s a taste of a few our favorites:

  1. Somehow, a chorus of barnyard animals melds smoothly into the zaniest rendition of the William Tell Overture we’ve ever seen. You’ll want to make sure you get all the way to the end with this one.

  2. Look up in the sky! It’s a bird – it’s a plane – no, it’s TUBA Superman!

  3. Mnozil Brass’s show on our stage is called Strau$$– it’s a love letter to the forefather of nonchalant flirting between genres: “King of the Waltz” Johann Strauss.

  4. The Magnificent Seven: classic western meets brass buffoonery in this true delight for the senses.

Wind up the gramophone, pump up the silliness, and don’t miss Mnozil Brass at the Center for the Arts!
