If your child loves silly fun, catchy tunes, and Halloween magic, come join us for the Laurie Berkner Band in concert (Oct. 18). Hailed as “the queen of kids’ music” (People Magazine), “the Adele of the preschool crowd” (New York Times), and “the coolest mom there ever was” (NPR’s All Things Considered), Berkner is back at the Center for the Arts for the second year in a row by popular demand!
“This was just an awesome, joy-filled event,” an audience member said last season. “The performance was so high energy and engaging, and the vibe was just happy and positive. What a lovely way to spend an afternoon with the kids or grandkids!”
We couldn’t agree more. Plus, at this year’s concert, we’re inviting all kids to celebrate the season by coming in their Halloween costumes! In addition to its classic hits, the band will be playing some of their favorite festive songs, including “Halloween Train,” “Monster Boogie,” and “What am I Gonna Be (for Halloween)?” One hour prior to the concert, family-friendly activities will be available in the Center's main lobby.
This joyful and upbeat concert will leave you with a serious case of the spooky sillies, so make sure you get your tickets today.
