We are eager to welcome you back to in-person performances at the Center for the Arts for the 2021/2022 season and are thrilled to offer a robust lineup of performances inside the Concert Hall beginning in September 2021. 

Tickets for 2021/2022 Season

Because we want to accommodate as many audience members as safely as possible, tickets are not on sale yet for the 21/22 season. In order to remain as responsive to changes as possible this fall, we will not be offering subscriptions for the remainder of 2021. Tickets for events through December 2021 go on sale in August.

Are there performances happening at the Center for the Arts now?

The 2021-2022 season will be announced on May 14 and includes a robust offering of performances inside the Concert Hall.

Digital programming continues to be available on the Mason Arts at Home platform.

How can I reach someone at the Center for the Arts?

The Ticket Office is open by phone and for in-person visits through May 22. Ticket Office hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday. Face coverings are required while on campus. From May 23 to August 1, the Ticket Office may be reached at cfatix@gmu.edu or through this contact form. I had tickets to a performance in the 2019-2020 season. What happened to those?

All outstanding tickets to canceled performances in the 2019/2020 season were refunded after June 1, 2020, or—if requested prior—were converted to an account credit or tax-deductible donation to the Center for the Arts at George Mason University.

All outstanding exchange certificates issued from the 2019/2020 season have an extended expiration date of May 2022. 

All outstanding tickets to The Chieftains have been refunded as of January 8, 2021, unless otherwise requested.

When performances begin again, what measures will the Center for the Arts take to ensure the safety and comfort of patrons?

Our staff is working tirelessly to be ready to welcome audiences back at the appropriate time with safety measures in place. We continue to follow the guidance of George Mason University, the Virginia Department of Health, and the CDC. Updated details about these precautions are available here.
